(This is the latest of my involvements with another “guru” – Paul Walker and his ClickBank Cash Supreme. Paul will never tell you he is one though… it is simply a matter of perception.)
You know, any good product should be able to stand on its own. So why is it as I review so many launches, that the JV partners clutter the launch with unrelated bonus after unrelated bonus? Yet, when you look at the JV or affiliate’s site one of the first things that is mentioned is – information overload -
It is Us
- We are a marketer’s dream come true.
- We are impulse buyers.
- We are bargain hunters.
- We want to super size everything.
- We want all of the extras… just in case the main item isn’t so good.
- That way we don’t feel cheated… or ripped off.
- We want to believe we got our money’s worth.
What results is that the prospective buyer wanders all of the internet looking to see which guru is offering the “best” bonuses. Forget the product that is launching… let me see what else I can get!
Now remember…
The reason we want to get the promised item is so we can learn from THE AUTHOR, not the seller. We don’t need to get distracted either. That unrelated bonus just caught our eye… and now we’re off on a tangent… forgot all about what we just spent our money on.
Yet who are you buying from… someone promising like you and I, struggling, who bought the last great product, read it, became consumed by it, and is putting it to practice now, because the promise was that the money would roll in if the program was followed…? Nope… It’s the fellow at the top who already has a weekly bottom line that surpasses your 10-year bottom line.
Realize… that if we continue to perpetuate that habit, no new internet marketing hopefuls will ever emerge… including yourself. For the same reason you and I buy FROM the gurus, so do thousands of other struggling internet marketers. And you will have to face that.
So, how do you and I get anyone to buy the greatest product from us when a thousand others are out-selling us because they have us psychologically pegged and know all of our irrational hot buttons?
(Right about now I’m smiling… I have my reasons…)
Now having said all of that, it’s evident that I’m not one of the elite gurus, nor do I ever want to be. I just want a chance at an honest income from the internet. My choice for the moment is internet marketing, with a bit of eBay worked in. I don’t want to have employees – been there, done that already – I don’t want to outsource. Let me be a one person show.
Let me market the products that have value. The hype is hard to avoid, so it has to be filtered… not tolerated. As an internet marketer, there is a challenge to be met in separating out marginal products, and that is especially difficult. It isn’t always effective either.
That’s where ClickBank products help.
